Srinagar
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, guests will be transferred to their hotel for check-in. Depending on available time, a visit to Srinagar city, recognised as the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, will be arranged. Notable attractions in the city include the renowned Dal Lake, which is flanked by numerous gardens established by the Mughals, such as Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Parimahal, and the Botanical Garden. Additionally, the itinerary will feature a visit to Shankaracharya Temple and the Tulip Garden, which is distinguished as Asia's largest tulip garden, showcasing a diverse array of tulips. Approximately 1.7 million tulips bloom in this garden, which is accessible to the public for a limited period of one month each year, specifically from the last week of March to the last week of April. An overnight stay will be provided at the hotel.
Srinagar - Sonmarg -Kargil
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kargil via Sonamarg, Zojila Pass, and Drass, stopping at the War Memorial along the way. Enjoy the magnificent views of the famous Kargil War peaks, including Tiger Hill and Tololing. Visit the Vijay Smarak, then continue driving along the Drass River until you arrive in Kargil. Check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Kargil - Lamayuru- Leh
After breakfast, set out for Ule, making a stop to visit Mulbek along the way. Continue towards Lamayuru, passing through Namikala and Fatula Passes, which are the highest points on the Srinagar-Leh road. Later, enjoy a stunning view of the impressive Moon Landscape. After breakfast, depart for Nubra Valley by driving across Khardung La, which is at an altitude of 18,380 feet. Pangong Tso Lake Tsomiriri Lake
After breakfast, we will drive to Tsomoriri Lake. This journey takes us along a trail that is literally a 'no man's land.' The vast, lonely stretches of the Chanthang plateau make this drive one of the most isolated experiences of the tour. Tsomoriri is located at an altitude of 4,511 meters above sea level and covers an area of approximately 140 square kilometres. In the evening, you can enjoy the stunning views of the shadows cast by the surrounding mountains and the varying depths of Tsomoriri Lake. You will be staying in tented cottages or hotels in Tso Moriri.
Tsomorir Lake Jispa Himachal
After enjoying a delightful breakfast at the hotel, participants will set off on a scenic journey to Keylong. The route will take them through the majestic landscapes of Tanglang La, known for its breathtaking mountain vistas, and the serene beauty of Tsokar Lake. Travellers will pass through the quaint settlement of Pang and ascend the challenging Nakeela Pass, followed by the picturesque Sarchu plateau. The journey will continue over the spectacular Baralacha Pass, where stunning views abound, before reaching the tranquil Zingibar and ultimately arriving at the inviting Jispa Camp. Upon arrival, dinner will be served under a starlit sky, and overnight accommodations will be provided at the camp, offering a cosy retreat amid nature's grandeur.
